Quartz in an ordinary rock

The bush has a way of surprising you when you least expect it. Last week, on a walk through the bush at Yarrella, I glanced down and noticed a small sparkle. Embedded in an ordinary rock was speckled quartz, catching the sunlight just right. It wasn’t something I was looking for, but there it was—something beautiful, hidden in plain sight, just waiting to be noticed.

I paused, crouched down, pick up the rock for a minute & reflected. We get so caught up in the daily grind, navigating challenges, and focusing on what’s next, that we forget to look for the hidden opportunities and beauty around us. Here’s what I learned:
